The Neurophysiological Biomarker Toolbox (NBT)

Visualize data

First load a NBT Signal. You can use both the NBT GUI or EEGlab for visualizing your data.

With the NBT gui

  • go to Visualization|Plot Signals, a window will appear asking to set plotting parameters (such as samples, frequency range, number of channels, etc …). The The NBT signal viewer gives you many options for viewing your signals.

  • you might also want to visualize time-frequency and power spectrum plots for a single channel: go to Visualization|Plot time-frequency plot and power spectrum of one channel, a window will appear asking to set plotting parameters (such as samples, channel, select plot power or plot amplitude, etc. Click here for extended tutorial.)

With EEGlab

  • go to Plot|Channel data(scroll)

  • or go to NBT|Visualization tools|Plot Signals, a window will appear asking to select the channels to view and the re-reference (e.g. select 1:129 channels and average reference [])

  • to plot a power spectrum go to Plot|Channel spectra and maps, a window will appear for setting parameters
